What’s On

The Maplewood Strollers are thrilled to announce our upcoming season of unforgettable stories, unforgettable characters, and opportunities for our community to come together through the magic of live theater. From thrilling musicals to beloved comedies and mysteries filled with surprises, our 2026–2027 season offers something for everyone. We can’t wait to share these productions with our audiences and welcome new and returning members of our theater community.


We’ll open the season with the haunting and unforgettable musical thriller Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. With its sweeping score, dark humor, and gripping tale of revenge and redemption, this Tony Award-winning masterpiece by Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler challenges performers and audiences alike with its rich characters and powerful storytelling.


Next, we’ll bring laughter and warmth to the stage with the classic comedy You Can’t Take It With You. This Pulitzer Prize-winning play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart celebrates the joy of embracing individuality, following your passions, and finding family in unexpected places. Full of eccentric characters and heartwarming moments, it’s a reminder that life is best lived a little outside the box.


Get ready for mystery, mayhem, and plenty of laughs with Clue, based on the iconic board game and beloved film, and written by Maplewood’s own Sandy Rustin! This fast-paced comedy invites audiences into a mansion full of suspects, secrets, and surprising twists as a group of colorful characters tries to solve the ultimate whodunit. It’s a delightfully theatrical evening filled with suspense, humor, and fun for the whole family.


We’ll close out the season with a whimsical journey down the rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland: A Musical, a new adaptation bringing Lewis Carroll’s beloved world to life on stage. Filled with imagination, music, and unforgettable characters, this original production celebrates curiosity, creativity, and the magic of seeing the world in a whole new way.
